What exactly is a Story? Is it the entire book?

Yes, stories has become an all-purpose term in the real world, from Instagram stories to story books, etc.

In Baby Yearbooks, a Story (also sometimes called a Moment or Memory) is a single entry in your baby's book, made up of any combination of

• photos
• videos
• video or audio narrations
• text

They can be as simple as a single photo or video. Or they can be several of each type. You can also add captions for each one, or write or dictate longer thoughts — and if dictated, they will be transcribed and tidied with AI.

You can then add that story to any chapter and they'll automatically be sorted based on the date.

Your book will be made up of many chapters, each of which will contain many stories. It's a great way to organize!
