I'm giving this as a gift. How will the gift recipient receive it?

After your purchase, tap “Next Step: Go to App” to complete your account setup and personalize your gift certificate. If you missed that step after checkout, no problem — you can also tap the “Continue to Baby Yearbooks” button in the order confirmation email we sent you.

Once you’ve personalized your gift certificate, we’ll email it to you. You can print it to give in person or forward it to the recipient by email with your own personal message.

Why do we send it to you instead of directly to the recipient? It gives you the choice of printing the gift certificate or forwarding it yourself — and if you send it by email, it’s much less likely to get caught in the recipient’s spam filter because it’s coming from someone they know.
